See chapter 1 for an explanation about this series. This is another selection of letters from the "It’s Not Fair!" letter column, in "Boy Stuff" magazine. In them, boys complain about how little privacy they are allowed, and about the double standard that makes it OK for people to see them naked but protects girls’ modesty. The magazine response is signed as INF, but it's actually written by Dr. Cassandra Miller, a feminist psychologist specializing in the upbringing of boys. The intention of this article is illustrating the attitude changes that the Conservative Resurgence has brought about: children, particularly male children, are firmly controlled by adult authority figures, who often make a point of emphasizing that control, in order to keep boys in their place and out of trouble.

Dear It's Not Fair,

My name is Roy from Asia and I am in a 7th grade aged 14. My mother is very strict about my education. she always checks my school exam results and always scolds me harshly for not doing well. I am not very good at math. So recently my mother has appointed a private female teacher for math. Me and my best friend go to her house twice a week to study. She is a young teacher aged 24 and very attractive and beautiful. But Miss is very strict and very serious about her business. Miss is always giving us homework and math tests. We two boys are not good at it. So she has given us lots of punishments like "ear holding stand up for 30 min", " ear holding kneel down for 30 min" or "ear holding sit ups 30 times". We are in a male only school, where all students and teachers are male. So it’s humiliating for us to get punishments from young female teachers. Our male ego is hurt being scolded by a female teacher.

Few months ago, our Miss gave us a math test. We scored really bad. Miss got furious, she scolded us for a long time and at last she added," It seems like normal punishments are not working for you boys, you two needed more than that. Bad boys like you should be punished naked. so I am going to take math test next week again and if you two fail again I am going to punish you naked".

We both were shocked. Our Miss called our mother and told them everything. When I got back home, mother scolded me for getting poor marks and informed me that she had given permission to the Miss to punish us naked. At first, I got very worried but later I thought they were just "saying it". So we did not work hard to get our preparations right.

Next week, Miss gave us the test again and we failed again. This time she was furious. She rebuked us for a long time and ordered us "now strip, take all your clothes off, totally. All of them, I do not want a single stitch of cloth in your body. You do not deserve them. Bad boys should be punished naked; they do not deserve privacy. They only behave when they find themselves naked in front of others specially females... now what are you waiting for? Do it by yourselves or I will strip you by myself".

We could only hang our heads in shame. A female teacher ordering us to strip naked as a punishment! But looking at her angry serious face, we both started undressing. Within a minute, we were in our undies. We looked at her and started pleading "please miss....do not make us to remove everything ". But Miss told us "not a single word.... remove them quickly". Having no other choice, we both removed everything.

We closed our eyes in shame. When we opened our eyes, we found ourselves standing naked in front of our beautiful young Miss with every body part exposed to her. In shame, we tried to block the view of our penis with our hands but our Miss ordered us " ¡both of you.... hold yours ears with hands".

We did as instructed and then she could see every inch of our naked bodies. Miss continued scolding by saying how bad we were and how much we deserved this punishment. After that she called her house maid in the room. Miss had a house maid aged 28-29 to help her with cooking. So maid came to the room and saw us standing totally naked holding our ears in the middle of the room. Maid could not resist her laugh and burst out laughing. Miss explained the whole situations to her and why we were naked. She was giggling all over with hands on her face. We were so humiliated. Miss brought another woman intentionally to humiliate us more.

Then Miss ordered us to go to the house terrace. We had to comply with her order. In the terrace Miss made us kneel naked holding our ears for one hour. We were so shy being naked outside in the open house terrace. After 10 minutes, Miss told her maid to keep an eye on us while she went downstairs. Maid was giggling all the time and teasing us. After one hour our Miss came back and told us to apologize to her for being such bad boys. We had to apologized to her for being naughty. After that Miss told us to get downstairs and get dressed, and she started teaching us again.

After that, we started working hard and doing our best. But as we are not very strong at math, we got into trouble after two months. We failed again. At that time Miss's younger sister aged around 21 was visiting her house for a few days. Miss's sister was from London and like our Miss, she is very beautiful and stylish too. I had a bit of crush on her though she was way older than me. So as we failed again, I was very scared. I did not want to be humiliated in front of Miss’s sister. I did not want to get another naked punishment. But I was not so lucky....Miss got furious again and started to rebuke us. Hearing that, Miss's younger sister came to the room to see what was happening. I knew at that time we were in a big trouble. As I feared, Miss ordered us to strip naked. I was standing there red faced. Hearing that, Miss's sister started to laugh, she asked her elder sister ”Really? Seriously you are going to make them naked?”

We tried to apologize to Miss but alas! That made her more angry and Miss told us “why are you disobeying my order? how many times I have to tell you?” and she started to took my friend’s clothes off herself. She ordered her sister to help her with me. Fully interested, her sister came to me and started pulling all my clothes off. Our Miss explained to her sister about our previous punishments, how bad we were at study and how bad boys needed to be punished naked. Her sister was enjoying the whole situation.

Within a few minutes I was in my underwear. I begged her not to do it. But she said “sorry lad, it’s your Miss’ order.” Her sister, without any mercy, pulled down my last piece of cloth and made me totally naked. Now we two boys stood completely naked in front of two beautiful ladies... one of them giggling. We hung our heads in shame. Miss scolded us for a long time in front of her sister about our bad performance. After that, like the previous day, we had to kneel down naked in the open terrace. Miss' sister was teasing us by saying "shame, shame, puppy shame... I can see everything you got...look … this is what happen to bad boys... when they do not listen… bad boys do not deserve clothes ...." .

This time after one hour we were called back in our room. We thought our punishment was over. But no… Miss extended our humiliation by not giving us our clothes back. We had to finish her math class totally nude.

After that Miss called both of our mums to her house. They came and saw both of us naked. Both of our mothers appreciated her punishment and thanked her for being such a good teacher. I was more humiliated by being naked in front of my friend’s mom and my own mom. Then we finally got our clothes back. Her sister was watching the whole show and smirking all the time.

When I got back home, mother came to my room and took all my clothes off and made me totally naked. Mother told me that I had to be naked for the rest of the night as a punishment and I would get my clothes back in the morning. My elder sister who is just one year older than me came to my room and saw mother taking all my clothes off and making me completely naked. She was laughing and teasing me. I went to bed early. Next day I had to apologize in the living room in front of my parents and sister totally naked. After that, mother gave me permission to wear my clothes again. My elder sister was laughing hysterically when I was apologizing naked.

I think it’s totally unfair. I have never seen girls get this type of punishment. Mother never gave naked punishment to my elder sister. Why do we boys deserve it specially in front of women? We still have our Miss, and I do not know what more is coming. Our mother completely supports her, and she (my mother) says she is going to give me naked punishments from now on for being bad. Dear Roy,

Thank you for writing to us. We are always happy to listen to your worries, and we love hearing from our readers from different countries.

It seems that your mother and your Miss have found a way of punishing you that looks rather effective. Now, you have to understand that they have every right to do this. You are a child, and little boys have the right to be loved and cared for, but they do not have any particular right to privacy or false modesty: only what their parents and other grownups allow them. Just like a mother doesn’t need to ask her toddler permission to change his diapers, your mother does not need to ask your permission to strip you naked as a punishment, or to allow your Miss to do the same. She is your mom, and she has complete authority over you. So wearing clothes is not a right you have, but a privilege that she may allow you or not. It’s not so bad, though. You have nothing to hide. Your naked body is not something shameful, but something natural. You can be sure that your mother and your Miss have seen naked little boys before, so there’s nothing to get worked up about.

Even though it doesn’t matter for little boys like you to be naked in front of people, and no one really cares, boys often get really shy and modest when they are seen naked, particularly by girls and women. It’s what we call false modesty, since there’s no real reason for it. That’s why it can be an effective punishment, and that’s why your Miss and now your mother use it. That’s also why your sister, and your Miss’ sister, laugh at you. It’s not that it should be shameful for you to be naked in front of them, since that’s only natural, but that they find your false modesty and your shyness cute and funny, and also they know that by teasing you it makes your punishment more effective.

But even though you know all this, I bet you still keep feeling shy when you are stripped naked in front of people, so it will keep being effective. Look at it this way: it really is better than other punishments, like getting spanked or grounded. It does not hurt, and it does not make you miss having fun with your little friends. But it still is effective and I bet it makes you work harder and study. You really need to do the best you can at school, because it is important for your future, and that is why your mom and your Miss are so strict about it.

So that’s all there is to it. It seems you can expect more of that punishment, since it is effective. So you need to be well-behaved and obedient, and work hard and study. When you don’t, you know what’s going to happen: you will be stripped naked. Every single piece of your clothes will be off, in front of everybody. Everyone will be able to see your little peenie and your bottom, and there’s nothing you’ll be able to do about it. You will not be allowed to cover yourself, since that would defeat the purpose of the punishment. So remember, the better you behave, the less often people will see you naked!

We wish you the best. Try to be good and do not get too embarrassed when you are “bare assed” in front of people (pun intended).
