PART SEVEN

"It's your mom on the phone!" Robbie's dad was standing outside Trin's room. Ever since walking in on the two kids when they had obviously been involved in some kind of sex play he was more circumspect.

"It's okay, dad," Robbie mumbled, rousing himself from sleep. "Just bring me the phone."

His dad walked in, noted the sleeping Trin curled up against Robbie's body and handed him the phone.  "I'm sorry it's so late. It's earlier in California," he reminded his son.

Robbie nodded and took the phone, "Mom?"

"I'm sorry to call so late. I thought you might still be awake," his mother apologized.

"It's okay.  What's up?"

"I just wanted to share some big news with you. I got the job!"

"Um, that's great. The promotion at the VA?"

"The Gainesville job. We're moving to Florida! You can just stay there for the rest of the summer.  I'll have all our stuff shipped and I'm looking into school options. I'll confer with you before enrolling you."

"What?" Robbie's head reeled. "I'm not coming home?"

"Oh, honey.  You'd get here and just have to turn around and fly back to Florida.  It would be exhausting . . . and expensive!"

"But, I didn't know you were really trying to get a job here. What's wrong with California?"

"I applied for a job in Gainesville. I told you that, remember?"

"I guess. But you applied for a promotion where you are. That's what I thought would happen.  Oh, man, shit!"

"I didn't know you would take it this hard, honey. I know you have friends here and all, but you're flexible. You'll meet new people . . . "  Diane's voice tapered off.

"Yeah, I'll miss my friends," Robbie agreed, "but, shit mom. You know I have to stay naked if you move here.  I'm stripped!"

"I'm not the one that did that," his mother reminded him.

"You would have done it if dad hadn't," Robbie countered.

Diane was silent. She knew it was true.

"See, I'm right," Robbie stated.

Diane nodded silently on her end of the phone.

"It's not fucking fair, mom!  Everyone thinks I'm so good natured they can just do anything they want to me.  Trick the boy into swimming naked, it'll just be for today.  Oh, wait, it's just for a week.  Don't be so upset, Robbie," he continued in a mock-concerned voice, "it's just for the summer.  You'll make new friends," he continued, "especially when we get you all geared up with a dildo up your ass.  Meet Robbie, the sex maniac.  Oh, sorry, I guess you'll be this way forever.  Oh, and while you're at it would you please keep this baby happy and fuck this girl over here and never complain and always be cheerful and compliant and . . . "

"Robbie . . . " his mother said soothingly over the phone.

"I fucking hate all of you!" he yelled.

"Um, Robbie . . . ," his father stood in the doorway, his voice sounding halfway between a plea and a warning.

"No!" Robbie was defiant. "I will not shut up!  I don't like being naked all the time and I'm not staying here . . . in Florida," he clarified.

His father came into the room and took the phone.  "Diane, Robbie's very upset. Maybe best if we help him out on this end for a bit."

"I guess this wasn't the best way to give him the news," Diane admitted. "I thought he'd be excited."

"He'll adjust.  It's just a shock at the moment."

"Okay, let me say good-bye to him then."

Robbie let his mother tell him she loved him and reassure him that she'd talk to him the next day. His father spoke briefly to her and then he came and sat on the bed.  Trin sat up, still half asleep, and tried to understand what was going on.

"Robbie, I understand that you feel things are out of your control and that you're upset. Let's all get a good night's sleep and reassess the situation by the clear light of day."

Jim found himself in the novel position of sitting on the bed rubbing two naked youngsters to sleep. He tried to get up once and elicited a protest from Robbie. Finally, assured that both of them were once again soundly asleep, he got up carefully and tiptoed back to bed.  Marie was still awake.  "Charlene's not going to be too happy," she informed him.

"Charlene? What's she got to do with this?" Jim inquired.

"She's not going to like it one bit that Robbie was mouthing off at his mother. Girls get what they want." Marie shook her head. "She's serious about it!"

"Let's go to sleep, darling. I'm sure everything will work out."

The clear light of day did indeed dawn. At first everything seemed to be going fine.  Robbie was subdued but didn't seem overly upset.  He even took Stace onto his lap voluntarily after breakfast and twiddled the little girl's clit until she was humming along in a low-key continuous orgasm.  Robbie smiled and kept at it, completely engrossed in pleasuring his cousin.

Trin was outside collecting lemons off of low-hanging branches weighted down by the fruit.  Charlene and Cherie were busy on the other side of the house with one of their endless construction projects.

"Do you still want to go to Palatka?" Marie asked Jim. "There were some things I wanted to pick up at Walmart."

"Robbie?" his father asked him. "Did you want to come shopping with us?"

Robbie shook his head and continued to twiddle the little girl on his lap.

"You're sure? Do you mind if we go?"

"No.  I mean, yes I'm sure.  I don't mind if you go." Robbie's voice was definite.

"I'll get ready and we can leave in about half an hour," Marie said.

Robbie was to regret his words by the end of the day. No sooner had the dust settled as Marie and Jim pulled away from the house than Charlene stepped into the house, the back door to the deck slamming behind her.  "Trin can take care of Stace," Charlene announced.

Trin looked at her mother in alarm, sensing something menacing in her voice.  She got up off the couch and came over to Robbie.  "I'll take her," Trin said gently. Robbie nodded and handed the girl over. Trin's experienced finger didn't miss a stroke and Stace hummed along in her orgasmic state.

"I need you to come outside," Charlene ordered Robbie. "No! You can stay here," she informed Trin.

Robbie got up and reluctantly followed his aunt out the back door.  Across the lawn Cherie stood next to the project the two women had been working on earlier that morning. A tall metal pole had been erected in the middle of the lawn.  It might have been a flagpole except that it had a metal crossbar 5 or 6 feet above the ground.  In front of the pole was a piece of plywood with some holes cut through it and bits of leather dangling from some of the edges.  The plywood was at an angle and supported by several strong two by fours bolted together with crossbeams.

"I want you to take a look at this," Charlene told Robbie as they walked across the grass. "You were very disrespectful to your mother last night on the phone. We don't stand for that type of behavior. Do you understand me?"

"Yes, ma'am," Robbie agreed. He hadn't been in the habit of speaking like that in California, but he'd learned fast enough that in Florida it was best to be mighty agreeable if it looked like trouble was brewing, and "ma'am" was a definite requirement if he intended to show obedience and contrition.

"I'm not sure you do understand," Charlene replied, her voice almost kindly, "so we built this little device to make sure that the message really gets through."  The two had now joined Cherie and the three stood around the pole.  "Reach up," Cherie instructed Robbie, "I want to see if you can reach that crossbar.  No, both hands.  Good."

Robbie stretched his arms as far as they could go and was just able to grasp the crossbar. He heard the paddle whistle through the air before he heard the terrible sound of it smacking his posterior. Immediately after he felt the horrible sting and fire started to burn through his flesh. He instantly released the bar and collapsed in a curled up ball on the ground.

"Oh my God, what are you doing?" he cried.

"You're getting paddled young man," Charlene informed him. "Five slaps should do it. But every time you let go of that bar, you'll have earned yourself an extra. Stand up this minute and reach for that bar or there is worse in store for you."

"No. Call my dad. He would never agree to this!"

"He didn't want to witness this; that's why he and Marie left for town. You think your dad wanted you to speak like that to your mother? Not on your life."

"I don't believe you. Call him, please, call him!" Robbie pleaded. He remained on the ground, his body curled protectively in a ball.

"Shall I simply move on to the second punishment? We have it all ready for you," Charlene asked patiently.

"Second punishment?!" Robbie exclaimed.

"You can have the first punishment of five smacks or if you remain uncooperative we can just move you along to the second -- which is much worse, I assure you."

Robbie slowly stood up, his ass still stinging from the earlier paddling, and gingerly reached up for the bar.

"That's a wise choice, my laddie," Charlene observed. "Remember, if you let go of that bar you get an extra smack, understood?"

Robbie nodded, trying to be stoic.

The paddle whistled through the air and slapped against his skin.  The stinging and burning was unbearable. He pulled his arms down and held them against his butt while he danced in pain.

"One extra. That makes seven in total."

"Seven. It should be six!" Robbie complained.

"You've removed your hands after every slap. That's two penalties.

"But you didn't even tell me about the penalty until after the first paddle," Robbie pointed out.

"Seven. Or we go to the second punishment."

Robbie lifted his hands and grasped the bar, determined not to let go.  A third blow landed across his rump.  He writhed his body, but he held on.  Cherie aimed the fourth blow so that it hit across his buttocks at a different angle.  To make the sting bearable Robbie screamed at the top of his lungs.  Just before Cherie wielded the fifth blow he saw Trin watching from the back porch, still holding Stace.

The fifth blow of the paddle was laid across his backside and Cherie had the paddle poised for the next blow.

"What are you doing to him?" Trin yelled, her voice frantic.

"This is what happens to boys who disrespect their mothers," Charlene explained.

"But, you're hurting him!" Trin insisted, running up with Stace held securely against her hip.

"Girls get what they want," Charlene announced firmly, "even when it hurts to watch."

"Well I'm a girl and I want you to stop," Trin yelled.

"I'm sorry, but Robbie needs to understand how to treat his mother right."  Cherie laid the paddle across Robbie's butt and without waiting for further developments whacked the last blow immediately after.  Having lost count, Robbie hung to the crossbar for dear life.

"That was seven," Charlene announced. "Let go of that bar and get over here."

Robbie looked at his aunt for confirmation and slowly let go of the bar.  Charlene led him over to the plywood and laid him face down across the slant.  His head fit through a hole in the wood and he realized that his wrists and ankles were being tied securely with leather thongs.  The whole thing was uncomfortable. The wood was rough and the leather ties kept him immobile, but the worst was his head.  The hole was cut so that his head was not supported by the edges of the plywood. The board was at just the right angle that it was terribly uncomfortable if he let his head flop down, but to keep it up required continuous use of his neck muscles.  But that was not the end of it.  The next thing he felt was his penis being fished through another hole in the plywood and then he truly did scream.

"Stop, help, oh my God!"  The poor boy shrieked.

Charlene let out a yelp and ran after Trin.  "Don't you dare hit me.  You're going to get paddled next," she yelled after her daughter.

"Let him go!" Trin yelled.

Robbie craned his neck and was just able to see what was going on out of the corner of his eye. Trin stood in the middle of the lawn with two long paddles, one in each hand.  They were much bigger than Robbie had imagined when he was on the receiving end of being swatted.  Charlene and Cherie were circling warily, trying to disarm Trin.  He couldn't see what where Stace was, but he could hear her whining for attention.

The scene might almost have been comical except except that Charlene had placed some type of clamp on the crown of his penis and it was all Robbie could do not to faint from the excruciating pain.

Who knows what might have happened next if a sheriff's car had not pulled into the drive. Everyone froze in place.

Robbie found himself once again at the Jacksonville airport.  He stood as close to the security line as possible, his eyes scanning the corridor for a glimpse of his mother.  Jim and Marie stood a ways back, keenly aware of Robbie's backside. The angry red welts had healed, but the dark blue bruises had given way to an unsightly pattern of purple and dirty yellow, mottled under the skin.  They had told Robbie's mother that things had gone awry at Marie's sister's place, but they had skimped on the precise details.

"Do I need to give you a spanking, young man, or are you getting those clothes off before the scanner goes off!"  They turned to watch a young teenage boy reluctantly strip down while his mother threatened him.

"Hi everyone!" Diane greeted them.

"Welcome back!" Marie replied, "How was your flight?"

"Robbie's been eager to see you," Jim added, "welcome back."

Diane gave each of them a quick hug.  "The flight was okay--but I must say I'm getting tired of transcontinental travel. It will be so nice to get settled in."

Robbie nodded, trying not to look as glum as he felt.

"I do have checked luggage.  I got rid of as much as possible and I shipped a lot, but, I really needed to bring as much as I could.  So, I'm sorry, but we'll have to go to baggage claim."

They made their way through the airport and down the escalator to the lower level and found the correct baggage carrousel.  The blinking light went on and the conveyor came to life and bags started coming down the chute.

"Oh, that's one of them," Diane pointed.

"I'll get it, mom," Robbie said.  It was when he stepped forward to grab the suitcase that Diane noticed.

"Robbie! What's happened to you?  That is a nasty bruise."

"I'm okay, mom."

"That did not happen yesterday, not by a long shot. I work in the VA, did you forget?" Diane shot everyone present a warning look. "Spill it, now. What happened?"

"Um, it's nothing, really . . .," Robbie started.

"My sister . . ." Marie began.

"We didn't want to worry you," Jim put in.

"Worry me? About what? Your sister, what's she got to do with this? Robbie, you tell me the truth this minute!"

"Let's just get your bags, first, okay?" Robbie pleaded.

"I don't care if my bags go in circles on this thing for an hour.  You're my son and I want to know why every time I'm not around something happens.  First you're stripped naked, then you're injured."

"It's my fault, mom," Robbie insisted. "I wanted to stay in California, you know, not be naked all the time, go to my same school . . . "

Diane looked at her ex. "Explain."

"Marie and I weren't there. We had just left to go shopping in Palatka . . . "

"Without Robbie." Diane interjected.

"Yes. The car broke down and a sheriff's deputy kindly offered to take us back home . . . "

"Instead of calling triple-A?" Diane asked, archly.

"It would have been a long wait," Jim explained, "and the dispatcher tends to give incorrect instructions in the forest, but," he continued, "I guess it was fortunate.  I mean, someone was watching out for our son."

"Uh, huh. The one you left instead of taking with you," Diane reminded him.

"When we got back to Charlene's place," Jim continued, "she and Cherie had him out back and, well, you can see the result."

"They were doing what with him exactly? And why?" Diane asked.

"They were upset because he had disrespected you on the phone the night before," Marie said.

"He had disrespected me, so they decided to take charge? I suppose that fixes everything," Diane replied sarcastically. "Two disrespects add up to one respect?"

"No, but . . . "

"You still haven't told me what they were doing. Robbie, what exactly did Charlene and Cherie do to you? It's not your fault and you aren't in trouble.  I just need to know."

"They made me hold onto this bar and then they paddled me with this huge wooden thing and Charlene told Cherie to do it seven times which wasn't fair at all because at first they said only five but she didn't tell me that if I let go of the bar I'd get an extra one and then . . . "

"Whoa, whoa, whoa.  She paddled you!  That must have been a major assault to cause bruising like that.  Robbie, what's wrong with your penis?"

The boy looked down and looked back up at his mother.

"It doesn't hurt any more."

"Any more? Does this have to do with the same incident."  Diane looked daggers into Jim and Marie's eyes.

"Um, yeah."

"When we pulled in," Jim said, "they had finished the paddling. We didn't witness that part. But they had him strapped onto a board and his penis was pulled through a specially made hole and there was a clamp on it -- like the large size of one of those binder clips."

"Man, I thought I was going to pass out," Robbie exclaimed, shaking his head. "I was so glad you showed up when you did!"

"Is your sister insane?" Diane asked Marie.

"I guess she went overboard this time," Marie admitted. "I mean, with her philosophy--'girls always get what they want'--."

Swirling all about them this entire time were the passengers on the flight from California, finding their bags, loading them onto carts, wheeling them away.  A short alarm sounded and the conveyor stopped.

"My bags must be here somewhere!" Diane exclaimed.  They found them at the side of the room where unclaimed luggage had been lined up against the wall. Robbie wheeled a cart over and loaded his mother's luggage.

"So," his mother teased him, "you want that penis tattoo after all?"

Robbie allowed himself a grin at his mother's joke, but the shaking of his head "no" was serious enough.
