Paradise, Phase Twelve

by Don

"Take it we are off to the park then?" Angie says, "better get Sammy properly dressed." With team work and everything at hand it takes only a couple of minutes she is soon sorted out and clipped in trolley - with forever hopeful Rex sat at the side as Sammy pats his head and pulls on his ears, with almost an almost smiling panting swearing blind it had heard that magic word of 'park' he is now wagging his tail.

You look at your watch saying, "Just a sec - stay there - nearly forgot to show you!" You quickly dash upstairs - straight to Sarah's hiding place, feel around and grab the pics she had shown you and rush back down to Angie. "These are what Sarah shown me earlier, "(spreading them on the kitchen table), "looks like some kind of nudest camp to me - but look at how 'close' they are to each other - and this one." (pointing to the one of Wendy and Suzie holding hands). "Are you thinking what I am thinking? Because to me, they look a little more than just good friends - especially looking at this one," (she points to one of Wendys hand resting on top of Suzies thigh). "OMG I missed that one." You both look at each other and smile - "But they don't act like a 'couple' and seem to act so 'straight' like us you really think so then?" Angie looks at you, "Would bet my bottom dollar on it hun!" and then you spot a couple of other pics you hadn't noticed - you fan them out start to see not only of them touching more closely but also the people in the background seem to be closer too, "This one looks odd Angie," and you point it out to her, "surely that isn't a woman kissing a little girl and tickling her pussy is it ?" "Where?" and then Angie looks closer and she says, "Well, it could be....... but in a pic, with all these other people about, it can't be?" - Then you stand up straight and say, "I just spotted something else Angie, it was bugging me when I first seen them and couldn't put my finger on it - I noticed something else that was strange about them!" With a curious look on her face and leaning up glancing over the pics she says, "Look Jan, it is a nudist camp and everybody is just letting themselves relax and just maybe you are looking more into it than you should." - "Okay then, tell me, 'where are the men?" - "What men?" - "Exactly!" Angie takes an even closer look now, and sure enough, not a single male can be found in the background of any of the pics apart from little boys. "Well, must admit, it must be a coincidence but can't see any either!" she replies.

You both jump as your cell phone goes off, "Only me," says Wendy, "Be there in no time now, thought we would get stuck in traffic but sailing through." - "Oh, right just about to leave." - "Don't forget to bring Rex will you? Bye see you soon." and line goes quiet. As fast as you can you bunch up the pics and dash to put them back - you grab the leash off the hook on wall next to back door and almost lose your temper with him as he is so excited he keeps jumping about and you struggle to get hold of his collar to clip it on. Finally, you are ready to leave, quick check front door is locked, windows closed, keys in hand you are all out of the door - with no help with Rex trying to pull you away you manage to lock it and off down the path, and down the road to the park.

Although only a few minutes away by car the usually fifteen or twenty minutes walk it took slightly longer - after all, Rex had to check out what seemed like all the trees, bushes, and gateposts along the way to make sure no other dog was moving into his territory - and never ceased to amaze you has to were all his squirts mark that he was still about came from - you finally arrive and to your usual bench, luckily just vacated by two old ladies.

"Wonder how long they will be?" asks Angie out loud. "They have beaten us, look over there." you reply noticing both Sarah and Debbie on the swings with Wendy pushing them alternately and pointing to them. "Shall we go over?" Angie says, "Nawwwe - you stay here with Sammy and I will pop over - you save the seat." You lean down and let Rex off his leash, and even though he has spotted them too - has his own agenda of marking his presense to do first and check out the scent of possible rivals.

The shouts of, "Hey, where you been." come loud and clear from Sarah, "We've been here ages." Soon upon them Wendy now turned facing and smiling says, "Take no notice - not been here that long, just that two ladies were sat in our spot so come here to wait instead," and slowing them down she adds, "come on girls, let's go and join them." Sarah does her brave sliding off with a slightly mistimed jump but manages to hide it breaking into a little run over to you with a welcome hug, "Hi Jan," followed swiftly by Debbie with the same greeting." - "So, how is your mom?" you ask, "She is great, could be home tomorrow, can't wait." replys Sarah, "Well, that is great news hey!"

You look up at Wendy, although still smiling it looks kind of 'false' - "Who wants an ice cream?" she asks as though nobody was going reply - "you two go and choose at the kiosk we will follow okay!?" and off they run, with Rex having done his own thing following in hot pursuit.

"So how is Suzie, really?" you ask Wendy, "She is brilliant - still a couple of tests to do first thing in morning - but they are sure almost for certain what is wrong making her poorly - they are almost certain, believe it or not, that it is dust mites of all things - not actually 'them' as such - but their 'poo'!! It is very common but usually last thing people think of. She is allergic to it - which is why all the tests were done to try and pin it down," adding, "trust me, the thought of all the worry, heartache and misery she has been through just because of a tiny bug you can hardly see, never mind it being its crap is really annoying, but, at the same time, a hell of a relief too - we never said or talked too much about it - but with a tight chest, not being able to breath, feeling sick all the time - well we were thinking it could of been something else, much worse, but as said, thank god it is just a little bug!"

Having now arrived at the kiosk with Sarah and Debbie having already decided what they want - you and Wendy get yourselves ice cream cones (with a small one for Rex of course), Sarah and Debbie waste no time in thanking Wendy for theirs and are dashing off to welcome Angie sat ever so patiently for you to come back. Again with the girls out of shot Wendy, matter-of-factly, "Oh, I believe we have something else to chat about!" - with a confused expression you look at Wendy saying, "Don't think so, all has gone well so far hasn't it?" - Wendy has a genuine wicked smile on her face and says, "Hey, don't worry, nothing is wrong trust me, but, Sarah and Debbie have been telling me things - tut tut tut!" adding with a slight pause, "but, hey - it is good news so don't panic - let's finish out treat and chat more then!"

Your heart is in your mouth......... just what has Sarah been saying.......... how can you explain anything.......... what if things turn nasty!? You are becoming shakey and nervous and although still aware of what is happening an almost situation of panic sets in. By this time, with a worried look on your face you are at the bench with Angie, Sarah, Debbie and of course Rex - with little Sammy asleep in her trolley enjoying the breeze of fresh air and in the land of innocent bliss.

Trying to look as though nothing has happed - you try as best you can to pass on Angies ice cream cone and give her a look of wanting a quick chat - in the commotion of greetings, handing out and smiles all around has not been easy of tasks. Lost for words for the present and what to say next with your heart pounding both with fear of what Sarah has been saying and what is going to be said and done and being 'ingtrigued' by Wendys comments of, 'don't worry' - you need some kind of moral support (for want of a better name for it).

Sarah and Debbie are taking care of Rex and Sammy - Wendy sitting next to Angie at the end you sit next to Wendy. You look at Sarah as she is lovingly caring for little Sammy as she is enjoying the sharing of her now melting ice cone and taking care - hoping she has not said too much to get you in trouble - thinking if she had - you would not be sat there by now but arrested or something! Now glancing at Debbie you start to wonder what she has been saying about Angie. Surely she couldn't have said too much - any touching could be explained by a bump in the road or lack of space and purely 'accidental'! - with your trust in Sarah whom is glancing at you and smiling - you hope that you have nothing to fear and start to relax more. Wendy, now finshed what she wanted of her cone bending down and making poor Rex whom has been slaveringly whilst glancing at all of you with sulken sad eyes for attention now perked into life as he joyfully licks Wendys fingers of melted ice cream whilst wagging his tail to make dust off waft through the passing breeze further down the path. Try as you may, you cannot catch Angies attention.

Not long since the cones are finished - Wendy decides it is time to go "Last go on the swings PLEEEEESE shouts ot Debbie" - "Okay - not for long though." replies Wendy. "Maybe Angie will push you this time if you ask her nicely." - Well, Debbie puts on her cutest of cutest of faces and looks at her straight in her face, "Please, please will you?" in a semi but acceptable whinning kiddy voice. "Okay, let's go." and down to the swings they walk - leaving you and Wendy looking on as both Sarah and Debbie swing on Angies hands with Rex in tow.

Wendy turns to you and says directly, "You and Angie - you are 'lovers' aren't you?" - you are taken aback at her quick chance remark so soon after the others leaving. Wendy gives a quick glance around, and brazenly puts her hand on your knee - then looks you straight in the eyes and says, "Listen, don't worry, believe me, I know what you two have been up to - it is more than okay all around." - your heart pounding you say, best you can, "How do you mean, what are you saying?"

"Well," Wendy replies......................, "Let us call it 'team work' and by pure chance couldn't have happened at a better time!"
