Leaving Home, Chapter 2: Making friends

by Erika

Looking around the bus Erika realized she had nowhere to sit. She didn't know anyone and there weren't any empty seats left. Finally toward the end of the bus, a girl offered for Erika to sit next to her. She was a petite blonde haired blue eyed 16 year old girl. Eventually they loosened up and started talking.

"Well this is my first year coming here and I'm really nervous." Erika said to who she found out was Michelle.

"This is my second year. I thought you said you were 16?" Michelle replied.

"Yeah, I went to Oakridge High school before. My mom enrolled me here because she is low on money."

"Oh, well don't worry, stick with me and I will introduce you to some of my friends." Michelle soothed.

"Thanks, I just..." Erika began replying but got lost in Michelle's deep blue eyes. They were the most beautiful eyes she has ever seen.

"Uhh, Erika? Are you with me here? What were you saying?" Michelle asked confused.

"Oh, yeah, sorry I drift off from time to time. I forget what I was going to ask."

"Oh, well anyway, I feel I should warn you that most of the girls in my little group of friends are lesbians. It kinda grows on you after a year of all girls no guys." Michelle explained.

"Oh I understand. I've been with my fair share of girls before."

"Oh, well that's good. I wanted to make sure you were cool with it but I can see you are more than cool."

"Yeah...hey, is that the place?" Erika asked pointing out the window.

"Yup."

Just then the bus haulted to a stop. The driver yelled for everyone to get the he'll out and grab your stuff. Once inside the group met up with a guide and got a tour and were showed to their dorms. Three girls in a room, four room sections (east, west, north, and south dorms), and 45 rooms per section. This school was huge and Erika had to learn most all of it, after all she was going to be living there for about a year. Papers were posted with all the girls' room numbers on it. Luckily Erika ended up in the same room as Michelle in the East section. Erika grew quite fond of Michelle(and not only in a "friend" way) in the first two days which were pretty laid back. No classes yet, just settling in and getting used to the place. They shared a room with a girl named Tara. Tara was a freshman and also didn't know anyone so she was kind of shy. She was a pretty girl though. Long light brown hair and feminine features, although she's kind of tall for her age of 14.

One day after dinner Erika and Michelle had nothing to do, so Michelle showed Erika her favorite spot on campus. A small cliff jsut above a pond just right so you can watch a beautiful sunset. They sat at the edge of the cliff and watched the sunset and chit- chatted.

"Wow, this is gorgeous!" Erika exclaimed.

"I know, I usually come here when I'm stressed or with somone I really like." Michelle explained.

"Well I can see why, it's very romantic." Erika said.

"You don't take hints to easily, do you?"

"Huh?" Erika said confused.

"I said I take people I like here, and I took you."

"Awww...Michelle..." Erika said about to cry from joy. She slid closer to Michelle and layed a peck on her lips as she was unsure how far to take it.

"Oh, I want some more!" Michelle said as she placed on hand on the back of Erika's neck while the other carresed her thigh. She pulled Erika's head in and passionetly sucked on her lips and inviting Erika's tounge into her mouth. Erika returned the passion and began kissing down her friends neck. Thoughts began racing through Erika's mind. Things like 'I can't beleive she likes me' and 'what will Lindsay think' and so on. Although before she could find awnsers to any of her questions or bring this further the curfew bell rung. Anyone out of their rooms in five minutes would be punished.

"Come on, we can continue inside!" Michelle exclaimed as she stood up.
