War and Peace and Christmas

by Fictionator

Just a little story for the evening before christmas eve.

The sun had set early this evening after one of the shortest days of the year. It was the 23rd of December, the weather was warm, as usually there was no snow at all yet, but at least the sun had been shining today. Now it was getting dark quickly, and Mozart, the little black cat from next door, they used to feed sometimes, had taken her strokes and then disappeared in the dark. Sophie was left behind, the little girl looked a while, if she could see the cat anymore, but then turned around and went into the house through the back door, closing it behind her. At eight years old, Sophie was looking forward to the near Christmas, but she didn't like the time right before that much. She and her big sisters fought a lot, but right before Christmas this seemed to come to a peak, when everybody was so stressed out and even her parents were nervous. Sophie wished, she could ring Nia. Nia was her best friend, since they knew each other from their Kindergarten, and there was nothing, Sophie couldn't tell Nia. Well, almost nothing, Sophie corrected in her thoughts. But the things, she couldn't tell Nia, she couldn't tell anyone. However, Nia and her parents were not in town, they had left for their holidays in Austria, where Nia would learn to ski, and they would luge and things like that. Sophie wished, she and her family were in the same winter sports resort now. She missed Nia a lot.

"What are you doing again?!" Stephanie yelled in Sophie's ears, as Sophie entered the kitchen. "Look around, where you walk! You made a ventilation and now it is ruined! You are so dumb!" Sophie yelled back: "I'm not, and it isn't only your kitchen!" Stephanie fired again: "No, but you are such a child, you're just dumb and ruin everything, you shouldn't come in here alone!" Sophie slammed the door and ran upside to her room, while Stephanie's cake inflated more and more. Tanja, who stood next to the kitchen catastrophy shook her head about her daughters. "Ok, the cake is not, what we expected, but trust me, we can repair this. However, I don't want to hear this again about your little sister." Stephanie sighed. "Sophie ist such a child, she doesn't understand, what I am doing and trying, she so often doesn't understand. And she can be a pest, when she always wants to be around." "That's the same, your big sister says about you." Stephanie sighed again. "But Sidonie is wrong, while I am right. Sidonie is just arrogant." "That's the same, your little sister says about you." "But Sophie is wrong..." The ten year old girl argued some more, while she and her mother repaired the cake - Tanja hadn't promised too much - but Tanja didn't succeed to convince Stephanie.

Sophie just wanted to rush into her room, but then her gaze fell through another door. She saw her biggest sister stand in the centre of her room, which was next to Sophie's. Sidonie stood there in front of a mirror and posed in different ways for herself. She seemed to observate herself to find out something, but Sophie couldn't guess, what it was. Sidonie now touched her breats. Different from Sophie and Stephanie the 13 year old girl had breasts, not half the size of their mother's, but yet more than 0. Sophie had to giggle. And then both girls froze. Both girls felt caught, but it was Sidonie, who first succeeded to move again, and she walked towards the little girl. Sophie moved too and flew into her own room and slammed the door behind her. Sidonie turned around and slammed her own door. From downstairs Tanja yelled: "What are you two doing again?" But she got no answer.

Sidonie felt at least as lonely as Sophie did, after Nia had left with her family. Sidonie had fallen in love with the most wonderful girl in the world: Ms Ringer, her english teacher. And right the last day of school before Christmas, she had told her about. The reaction was not, what she had expected. Ms Ringer told her, she was no lesbian, she had a boy-friend, she loved a lot, and she would marry him sometime. And that she - Sidonie - would sometime find another person, who would fit her much better than her old english teacher. "You're not old!" Sidonie shouted out. "I'm more than twice your age. Compared to you, I am old." Ms Ringer continued, that Sidonie had much time to live in front, and in this future she would find out, if she really was lesbian, but if or if not, there would be someone for her, there, in her future. Ms Ringer sounded so motherly and nice - so damned motherly. Sidonie left then soon, and now she was lovesick the first time this strong.

Later Tanja worked in her bedroom again. She had to make up some last packages, and then... There was a lot to do yet, before things were ready for Christmas Eve. Tanja thought about her daugthers. A few years earlier things seemed easier with them, but now they seemed to fight almost daily. The three girls, who looked a lot like Tanja herself with her long red hair, her iceblue eyes, her light skin, her freckles during the summer, as long as they didn't fight, they seemed to be charming angels. Tanja hoped, at least for Christmas it could be different for a few days or at least a few hours. But then she worked on to get everything ready.

Sophie sat in her room and looked into the LED-candle, she had put on. She was not allowed yet to have normal candles her own in her room. Unfair she thought, as her sisters were allowed to do so. Then she heard a knock. She listened, and there was another knock. "Yes?" "It's me", Sidonie answered. "Go away!" Sophie didn't want another fight right now. "I'm not mad, let's just talk." "Well ok, come in." Sidonie entered the room, where Sophie sat in front of the LED candle in front of her desk. Sidonie sat down on Sophie's bed and looked over to her little sister. "Please don't talk about how you saw me in my room, ok? Just promise and everything is ok." Sophie nodded. "I promise." Then after a moment of silence: "Why are you two always this mad at me. I didn't hurt you, neither you nor Stephanie." Sidonie nodded. "Yes, you didn't, that's true. It is just... I am a bit sad. There is someone, I miss a lot. And it hurts me." Sophie nodded again. "I understand this. I miss my friend too." There was another knock on the door. "Yes?" Sidonie answered, before Sophie could say anything. Stephanie came inside and sat down on a cushion. All three looked at each other a while. Then Sophie broke the silence: "When we were small, we had an enchantment to end up all anger between us. Maybe this can work again?" Sidonie smiled. I know another enchantment coming from the ancient celts. We can try this too." Stephanie grinned. "Ok, I have another, which comes from the Asrai." "The Asrai?" Sidonie looked at her bigger little sister with her brow turned up in a bow. "It is a people from a fantasy book, I just read." Sidonie smiled, and Stephanie took her tongue out at her big sister. Sidonie smiled a bit warmer. "It is ok, we do all three of them, ok?"

Half an hour later the three girls stood again in Sophie's room to fulfill her enchantment. As the rules said, all of them were nude. The room was lit only by three LED candles, which stood in different corners. Next, the girls went to different corners of the room and there each of the girls blindfolded herself. Next, each of the girls called the names of both of the others and walked herself on with outstretched arms. Soon Sophie and Stephanie bumped into each other and immediatly wrapped their arms around each other. They calles Sidonie and a moment later their big sister bumped also into them. The girls held each other tight and then took each others' blindfolds off. Sophie grinned wide. "This was my enchantment, now we are friends again."

Half an hour later the three girls stood now in Stephanie's room to fulfill her enchantment. Again all of them were nude. Of course they had slipped into their clothes to walk across the floor, but now they had shed their clothes again. The room was only lit by three candles on the floor between them. Stephanie sat down on the floor in a lotus position and her sisters followed suit. Stephanie said: "Well, we all have to cry now. We need tears." This came out as a problem, as none of the girls was able to cry on command. But Sidonie knew a trick. They began to tickle each other in a circle. As all of them were very ticklish, it took only short, till all of them were laughing mad and had tears on their faces from laughing. They returned to their lotus position and Stephanie took some of her tears from her face on each index finger. Sophie and Sidonie did the same, as Stephanie nodded at them. Then Stephanie reached out for her sisters' faces, and Sophie and Sidonie did the same. Stephanie said: "They're for you, my tears, my love, my bounty." Sidonie repeated the sentence and so did Sophie. Then they swept the tears each other in their faces, where their own tears mixed with the foreign tears. For a moment they took each others' hands, then Stephanie leaned forward and blew the candles out.

Half an hour later the three girls stood now in Sidonie's room to fulfill her enchantment. Once more all of them were nude. The room was only lit by lots of candles forming a kind of alley from the door to the window. Sidonie took her sisters by the hands and they walked along this alley to the window. Without letting their hands go, Sidonie told her sisters to open the window wide, and then they all climbed onto the window sill and stood in the light of the full moon from outside. Sidonie quietly recited a verse in an old celtic dialect. Then there were steps outside in the street. Sophie and Stephanie whispered: "We get caught..." Sidonie blinked at them: "Well, maybe, but we are stronger, we are three here."

Half an hour later the three girls were in the living room again. Of course all of them were totally dressed again. Tanja watched them a while, but at least for the moment the war seemed to be over. Tanja passed them cookies and chocolate, and they all sat down. "So... you sad girls, do you feel better now?" They smiled, softly but a full smile. "Sure", Stephanie said. "We are three here."
